 Phew!

This is our third house within a span of 2 years. While the rents in namma bengaluru has sky rocketed, some owners have become completly business minded. Profitability I agree, but this is beyond that.

Just after covid was over, We shifted to a house near Marathalli and within a year owner told, “Agreement is getting over so now you can vacate” , we tried to convience but he was not ready… With no other option left, We started searching, Trust me it was hard & Please dont ask me about the rent…2bhk with basic amenities not less than 30k (Now for the same flat we used to stay, the rent is 37k)

Finally we found a house through broker, Guess what this time we shifted near Arekere, Bannerghatta road.. Community was good and had all amenities. We were happy! but that was short spanned!

Just in 4 months, owner asked us to vacate because now he wants to come back to the flat!!! You can imagine how much effort & time it takes to find a home and to get settle there.. By the time we were settling in, we again had to find a roof! 

It was not just a financial loss for us but we were under tremendous pressure..Since we both are working, had only weekends for house hunt.

Now, We have just shifted to another house. Unstacking the stuffs currently..Takes time to settle in here! Hoping for a peaceful stay. 

I know many people are going through the same in Bengaluru and I completly get the pain.

Another thought, Instead of paying so much for rent, If we spend extra 10k per month for an EMI..We can own a flat in few years! Right?
